"take me to the water"
Kayaking is a varied activity from a relaxing sunset paddling along a tranquil south Devon bay to a huge adrenaline rush of throwing yourself down some white water. Combine this with chilled fun vibes and a fair a bit of travelling and you have University Plymouth Student Union Canoe Club!

"Mark the boat!!"
It was the most anticipated weekend of the paddling calendar, and it was just as good as we all thought it would be! Big congratulations to Lloyd and Lou for such an awesome performance! Pictures will be going up in the gallery over the next few days, and the official '08 NSR video will be edited within the next few weeks, and if any of you have any footage, please let myself or Emma know!

Member Spotlight : Royski

Hello Sailor
Roy is the clubs human megaphone, and one half of next years social sex! He is 8'7" and can bench-press a semidetached house, whilst reciting Red Dwarf scripts and drinking Greene King IPA. He paddles a Perception Blaze (just), studies rocks n' stuff, and in his spare time wrestles thunderstorms. A true Adonis, Roy is a socialising maniac, with a passion for fine ale, and baked goods. So next time you have a Ginsters in one hand and a Tribute in the other, just do the good thing, and give them both to Roy!
